THE TRINGO TIMES

My pal Clive Thomspon, consistently perceptive technology writer for New York Times' Magazine, just posted a suitably mind-boggled write-up on the rise of Tringo on his blog, with much-appreciated linkage to NWN.  My latest on Kermitt Quirk's game here, but the story got even wilder after I posted that:  Tringo is being developed into a television show.  Kermitt's game still remains the primary (only?) example of the metaverse's ascent as an equal partner with legacy media-- something I've predicted as fait accompli in 2016. (Link via Terra Nova; Comments there worth a read, too.)
