The "MS Fly" -- an expansion of the Multiple Sclerosis Society's annual walk -- is an interactive scavenger hunt to raise awareness and funds to fight this chronic disease. Sunday, June 10 at 9AM SLT, come to the official MS Fly kick-off and ribbon-cutting ceremony. At the MS Pavilion on the Illusion Factory Island (teleport SLURL) you can get an MS Cape and participate in a week-long hunt throughout SL, while raising funds to fight MS. Friday, June 8
Mill Pond Folk Fest
From June 8-9 the Mill Pond Folk Fest will take place across three music stages in two sims (Stone Hill and Mill Pond) for 15 hours of music, featuring over 40 live musicians. In addition to the SL live music talent, they are also introducing 13 new artists from Montreal, Canada to SL, with the Tavern Stage on Mill Pond dedicated to live music streamed from Montreal.
3PM - Basic Scripting Class
Fox Hwasung teaches a course on "scripting magic," covering all the basics you need to know to get started writing your own scripts or modifying existing ones. Knowledge of basic building prior to attending is recommended. At disturbing world (159, 79).
6PM - Kissing Booth Fundraiser
Pucker up for a cause! As part of a month of Gay Pride activities going on in June, there will be a kissing booth fundraiser at The L Word (127, 154). All proceeds from the booth go to the Susan Love Research Foundation.

4PM - The Show Must Go On
"The Show Must Go On" is a variety show with a host of talented performers taking place at the SLL Pantheon Performance Hall on Info Island II (teleport SLURL). Featuring such thrilling and death-defying acts as "Serpentus Gigantus," "Inferno," and the "Synchronized Knitters Precision Unicycle Drill Team."
6:30PM - Fashion Show/Auction for Charity
You're invited to a fashion show/auction to raise money for the Arthritis Society's Foundation and "Hecho a Mano," a Paraguayan orphanage. Top designers have agreed to donate top-of-the-line clothing items for sale. At Gilgamesh (173, 113).
7PM - Hat Exhibit
Come and witness a showcase of some of SL's strangest, most exotic, and one-of-a-kind hats, hosted by the Virtual Artist Alliance Gallery. The hat designers will take their hats to the runway and pose as live "mannequins" throughout the event to answer questions and display their headgear. At Chiaksan (36, 135).

Sunday, June 10
10AM - Canterbury Tales Virtual Pilgrimage
Dress up and roleplay as one of the characters from The Canterbury Tales. At the end of the pilgrimage, participants will try to guess who each person was trying to portray. Linden prizes awarded for best roleplayers. At Knightsbridge (229, 20).
4-6PM - Rokuro Sculpted Prim Class
Matika teaches a class on working with the freeware program Rokuro to create sculpted prim map textures. You will be aided by a slide presentation and samples of the assigned sculptie projects. Matika notes that this class has been a labor of many hours of work and thus the cost of the course is L$ 500. At Agape (127, 63).
5PM - SLRFL Date Auction
The group Friends Fighting Cancer is holding a Date Auction with all proceeds going toward the SL Relay for Life. Many lovely ladies and gentlemen will be putting themselves up to the highest bidder for a date. At Akoni (teleport SLURL.)

Monday, June 11
7:15AM - Virtual Activism Panel
The Games for Change conference in New York will feature a mixed-reality panel on "virtual activism", including several experts on non-profits in SL, including Glitteractica Cookie of Techsoup, In Kenzo of Amoration, Jeska Linden of Linden Labs and moderator Beth Kanter. SL participants will be able to hear an audio-stream of the event and submit questions via IM to the panelists. At the amphitheater in the Plush Non-profit Commons sim (teleport SLURL.)
Chef Uriza, aka Manuel Diez, the chef of the famed Catalan restaurant Arrel del Born in Barcelona, will reveal the secrets behind the preparation of one of his favourite dishes "skrei cod over black cuttlefish rice." The show will consist of the chef's narrative (in Spanish) with a slides. On Tuesday June 12 at 12pm this will be rebroadcast in English. In Plaza Real (teleport SLURL).
