Dutch Treat: Holland has most Residents by proportion

De_nederlandse_community
De Nederlandse Community in the early (for Holland) hours

The Lindens' latest demographic figures are now available, and within hours of them going online, Veritas Raymaker had crunched the numbers, and compared the total active Residents by country to the total population of their respective nations.  Here's his top five, by percentage of SL users to the whole:

- The Netherlands 0.10 %
- Denmark 0.08 %
- Portugal 0.07 %
- Australia 0.07 %
- United Kingdom 0.06 %

So a tenth of one percent of the Dutch are now active Second Life users.  For comparison's sake, if the same percentage of US citizens were avid Residents, there would be more than 300,000 Americans in-world.  (Instead of 157K, which is the current tally of my fellow geographic citizenry.)

Yes! The greatness of a small country :-))

We Belgians are in place six. Not bad. =)

That's what happens when you have a small country with a high level of broadband penetration. Go Holland!
