Help Design The City Of Yesterday's Future Today

Rebuild_plasma_city_01preview_2 The brillcreamed older brother to steampunk, Raygun Gothic is the 20th century's version of the future (Flash Gordon, The Jetson's, etc.), and starting today, NWN partner Rezzable is opening four sims devoted to the look and feel of a tomorrow that never was, seeking builders to create their Plasma City.  Rather, rebuild: originally, Rezzable claims, the City was "an attempt by a real life engineer to study industrial accidents and simulate the causes and effects of nuclear-type accidents."  So a perfect place to construct a sci-fi metropolis.  Go here for all the details.

So much for Extropia and Mongo cornering the market on rayguns! I'm quite chuffed to see such a large project like this take place. I'll be keen to keep an eye on it and await its completion with baited breath, as there's so much to like about 'raypunk'. It's positive, colourful, futuristic and easy to build, in comparison to some fantasy and industrial themes.
