Wanted: A New Events Writer for New World Notes!
After months of great and vivacious coverage of Second Life's events calendar, I'm sad to announce that Charlanna Beresford is taking an extended break from writing for New World Notes, particularly her indispensable Lanna's List. We're leaving the door open for her, of course, so she may return to write for NWN in other capacities.
For now, however, that means we're looking for another great host or hostess of NWN's event calendar-- not just Second Life, but OpenSim too. If you're an in-world bon vivant interested in a wide variety of activities (the arts, games, music, fashion, mixed reality occasions, etc.), I'd love to chat with you. IM me in-world, email me (hamlet at second life dot com), or get in touch via my Plurk or Twitter feed. Bi-lingual writers especially welcome; and yes, there's a Linden Dollar honorarium.

Thanks, Hamlet! You know that I'll miss doing the list too!
For those of you that are thinking of taking up covering events for NWN, it really is a fun opportunity and you'll find that it is enjoyable working with Hamlet.

I can second that. You get to meet lots of amazing people and highlight some of the coolest stuff happening in SL. I had a blast doing it.
