Reddit Island in Second Life has a Temple to Reddit

Reddit Capital in Second Life

Reddit has a Second Life subreddit, so it's unsurprising SL has a Reddit region too. I wrote about it last April, but since then, as this photo courtesy Adeon Writer suggests, it's been remodeled into a veritable temple to Reddit iconography. (It's like something one of the great Soviet Constructivists might have built, if they were building for upvotes, instead of Lenin.) A group of Redditors created it as a hangout space, so while it isn't an official Reddit presence in SL, when I asked Reddit General Manager Erik "hueypriest" Martin about it, he seemed unphased. I do kinda wish the bacon and the narwhal were 3D mesh statues alongside the alien. Anyway, click here to visit Reddit island in Second Life.
