Tuesday Machinima: "?", a Question Asked by a Fool & His Robot Friend

"?" by Arrow Inglewood is a pretty good music video machinima for a song called "Wisdom" by Iris folk band The Guggenheim Grotto (official site here), and it features a fool and his robot friend searching for ways to be wise or at least for interesting things to do. Some of the animations are a bit off and a few of the visual choices are a bit too on the nose; the lack of dynamic shadow is also a minus. However, it's also got generally great shots, tight editing, and a unified narrative theme, making it an overall solid machinima.

Inglewood's machinima, as you probably guessed by now, is a submission in the University of Western Australia's latest Second Life machinima contest, which I'm helping judge, and centers around the theme, of course, "seek wisdom".
