Thursday Machinima: "tactile illusions", Kaleidoscopic Visual Feast Shot in SL

I really like the psychedelic, multi-layered visuals in "tactile illusions", an SL machinima from Joe "Spiral Silverstar" Zazulak, so watch, watch:

As head-spinning as the imagery is, most of the effects were achieved in-camera, so to speak:

"I use various WindLight settings, shadows and depth of field in SL, and I changed the default sky texture as well," Zazulak tells me. He captured all this in FRAPS and added layers and more effects in a video editing software program. He shot in on a sim owned by the Catalan Institute of Nanotechnology, and it's a first for me that such a sim exists: Click here for a direct teleport.
