Interesting Second Life Survey for Users Over 30
Prim Perfect is conducting a valuable Second Life user survey for SLers over 30, which to judge by the demographic data we have, is about 60% of the user base. There's a very likely reason for this, which I'll blog about in the future, but meanwhile, if you're Gen X or older, do check out Prim Perfect's survey.

Prim perfect should note that after answering the questions, refreshing the page allows me to answer it again and again and again. It would be simple for me to stuff the ballot box here and make SL for 99 year olds who are only interested in creating stores for people who have romantic relationships with Koalas...

Oh great, now I can't un-imagine Koala hook-up places in Zindra.
"Hey baby, wanna go back to my treehouse and see my etchings, I got some fine mesh eucalyptus plants goin on."
I couldn't get it to take my response..said I was missed answering a question, but I got them all.

I'm still scratching my head about the age range options. Assuming the ranges are inclusive, I could honestly take it as a 30-year-old, which I am. (Technically I'm over 30 by about half a month, but we do measure age for people older than babies.) But 30-40, 40-50, etc., also involves some overlap, which isn't great. 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, etc., would yield more accurate information, wouldn't it?

Ack, regarding my previous comment, that should have been "age in years for people older than babies." (A phrase escaped during revision.)

virtualchristine nailed it. Money and time. When the young'uns settle down, they'll forsake avians with rage issues for deeper pursuits.

Besides the confusing overlap of age bands, I also found a "strange" option where you have multiple checkboxes which work together to reflect multiple choices, and an extra checkbox saying "several of the above". Uh... so what should be checked, then?
There is also one or two spelling mistakes in the middle of the text.
To the Prim Perfect guys: for the next time, read a few academic articles about how to create surveys. A few little tricks will get you better results!
