I was logging in from rural East Texas and had a constantly fuzzy screen and warnings about how far away the servers were. I'm looking forward to trying it again and see if it's improved for me.

I recently tried Fire Storm on a Toshiba Win 8.1 tablet and it worked surprisingly well.
Skate Foss commented on 'Early User Reviews of Bright Canopy Second Life Streaming Starting to Come In'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d8341bf74053ef01b7c7c3ce08970b2015-08-24T20:54:34Z2015-08-24T20:54:34ZSkate FossI tested BrightCanopy in Beta on a new iMac in NYC with expanded bandwidth and was totally impressed. However, when I tried it using an 8 or 9 year old Mac in a rural area 100 miles from nyc, (where the service would be ideal to have) the user experience was terrible. Low resolution graphics, severe lag, constant warnings saying the server was thousands of miles away and other warnings making no sense. Saddly logging into SL using the Firestorm Viewer from same location on same older iMac was not ideal, but much better then using BrightCanopy. I hope service will be improved, I would love to be able to post an updated brighter review.
Ciaran Laval commented on 'Early User Reviews of Bright Canopy Second Life Streaming Starting to Come In'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d8341bf74053ef01b7c7c2a601970b2015-08-21T23:16:54Z2015-08-21T23:16:54ZCiaran Lavalhttp://sl.governormarley.com/"It does work rather well" is a notch or two below "This totally kicks ass", "The dog's bollocks" would be...
"It does work rather well" is a notch or two below "This totally kicks ass", "The dog's bollocks" would be mighty praise indeed, but it wasn't quite at that level.

I have a good broadband connection, so my experience is probably not a good barometer, but I was impressed with how well it worked.
Bill Glover commented on 'Early User Reviews of Bright Canopy Second Life Streaming Starting to Come In'tag:typepad.com,2003:6a00d8341bf74053ef01b7c7c298db970b2015-08-21T20:45:22Z2015-08-21T20:45:22ZBill Gloverhttp://www.brightcanopy.comThanks for sharing what you're hearing from folks.
