JOI BLOGS JOI WATCHING JOI ON THE ISLAND OF JOI

Classic:  he only started getting situated on his SL island last night, but Joi Ito (whose avatar is also named Joi Ito) has already started playing around with real world/virtual world recursion.  (In this, it's worth pointing out, he follows previous experiments in recursiveness by fellow Creative Commons luminaries Lawrence Lessig and Cory Doctorow.)  Joi's island is actually a cluster of four contiguous regions, so it's a big island with all kind of possibilities-- visit his Wiki to volunteer ideas, time, and resources to the projects already being proposed for the place he calls Kula, named after the ceremonial exchange system/gift economy of New Guinea.
