Assuming I haven't gotten lost on the way down to Mountain View, in a couple hours, I should be part of the stream simulcast live here in the headquarters of The Electric Sheep Company. Starting an 9AM (SLT), Philip Linden opens the keynote to SDForum; I pop in at 10AM with CNet's Daniel Terdiman, UC Berkeley's danah boyd, and assorted friends; ex-Linden Reuben Tapioca and Sheepman SNOOPYbrown Zamboni have the floor at 1pm, and Kula Island owner Joi Ito closes it all out at 4PM. Lots more metaversal goodness throughout-- here's the schedule. Watch-- and discuss!

Great panel. The Darfur island story is a great anecdote.
If you didn't notice, you got a lot of applause from Sheep Island.

The concept is fabulous, but for those, like myslelf, who attended and could not get the video stream working, it was very dissapointing. I am sure there are several others that had technical issues given that the 2 avatars siting next to me were also struggling to see the big screen. So I ended up watching a black screen with rainbow colour dots moving around. Granted, the blame certainly goes to my inferior and unsupported Intel 950 GMA graphics card (I can't say I wasn't warned). Which brings me to my next question, is there going to be an archive site with the video transcript for those of us who were present but unlucky enough to have missed the entire conference?

I heard they were planning to create a podcast for IT Conversations.
