A lecture on Cyber Law and an SL-based version of "Mystery Science Theater 3000" are two of the weekly NWN Event highlights-- details after the break. If there are other events this week you feel are also worth a mention, post the server link and a description in Comments, and if it fits, I may highlight it in an update. (And if it's blatantly commercial, I'll probably just delete it.)
Update, 6:44PM: Bumping this up to highlight two more events this week: launch of a new virtual golf course, and a real world meet-up of Residents in Seattle.
Update, 6/30: Added tomorrow's space shuttle simulcast.
All times in SLT, i.e. Pacific Standard:

Hosted by Zafu Diamond: "The focus of this group is to support men in their quest of the masculine soul and ongoing personal growth. Ah, Hamlet. Sometimes people copy themselves because they're lazy. Then again, sometimes people copy themselves because what they said the first time is simply perfect:
"... like playing a multiplayer first-person shooter where the enemies are stupid movies, and the weapon of choice is snark."
Makes me smile just to experience the ineffable precision of that description again. Elex couldn't've put it better himself ~ and the boy's got some verbal skillz, yo.
