LindeX activity for the last three months (full details available to SL Residents here)
Note to self: with the market value of the Linden Dollar consistently hovering at around $L330-US$1 for the last few month and near L$300-US$1 in the two months before that, the current rule-of-thumb conversion should be L$1000 = $3. Before then, the L$ had remained relatively stable at approximately L$250-US$1 for the longest time, so I've been stubbornly clinging to a rough "Four bucks for every thousand Lindens" calculation. But with the recent ending of Traffic incentives and a subsequently tightened money supply, it looks like this will be the new standard for months to come.
So until further notice, when you see L$1000, think three dollars, when the price is L$20,000, think $60, and so on.
