The bewhiskered Tom Paine of Second Life
Happy July 4th to my fellow American Residents. A good day to remember the Americana tax revolt of 2003, a rebellion that effectively created an implicit social contract which established SL's community as Linden Lab's equal partner in the world's creation. And a cat named Fleabite Beach led the people to victory.
You know, it's interesting. Just the other day I was cleaning out some folks I didn't know from my friends list, and I saw Fleabite Beach's name, and I wondered... Whatever happened to that cat?
She was a fuzzy catgirl in SL before anybody had the bright idea to stick spheres together to make organic shapes.
