Tomorrow's movie night at the Second Life office and gallery space of Creative Commons, in Kula. 4pm-6pm Second Life Time (i.e. Pacific), come meet filmmaker Stefan Kluge via his SL alter ego "Gonzo Oxberger", as he shows off highlights from "Route 66: An American Bad Dream", his documentary featuring three Germans driving across the legendary highway in a beaten down red caddie. (A film that is, of course, CC licensed.) Talk with Gonzo about his creative process and his "open source netlabel" VEB FILM Leipzig.
More event info at Creative Commons' blog here. Direct portal to the August 9, 4pm SLT meet-up here.
(Disclosure: I'm a proud part-time consultant for CC's Second Life office.)
Update, August 10: Added a pic of the director's avatar. Unable to get clothes in time for the event, Gonzo tells me, he created an appearance that would make an impression. Mission accomplished.
Hey, if you show videos about germans how about doing it at more german-friendly times? ;-)
