Marvelously inventive or utterly perplexing, you make the call. Over at Second Life Insider, occasional NWN contributor Aimee Weber reports on a new roleplaying community: a high school. With all the trappings:
There is a library, an indoor pool, a football field, a basketball court, and even faculty offices. If you wander off campus you will find a bowling alley, a skating rink, and a cute diner where the kids can hang after school... This active role playing community has sign-up sheets for every activity you can imagine. You can be a cheerleader, a football player, a teacher, a coach, in fact you can even be the lunch lady! (I SO have my eye on that job!)
Oh that's funny, but I kinda wonder about the people who would want to replay HS; something tells me they're the same people who go to the reunions and speak of it all in wistful tones--even the reunions.

Anyone who wants to roleplay highschool obviously was never a highschooler. I'm in highschool now, and let me tell you, if these are the best years of my life, I'm not looking forwards to adulthood.

Well, no, Dolus, it's not that they weren't a highschooler... I'm willing to bet that, like most things, people tend to look back on their past with rose coloured glasses, and only think of the better things.
Plus, we're talking about highschool for a different generation. Things may or may not have been different.

Most probably had the same usual miserable experience that 90% of us had, and want to try to do it again "right". It's still really, really creepy and horrible.
However, I'm waiting for someone to reenact Columbine on them. Every day. Forever.
