On Sunday March 18, Inside This World is holding a Holodeck Expo to showcase their latest holographic offerings, including a new retail holodeck, an interface that allows people to rez scenes by clicking a photo. Proprietor Biscuit Carroll was kind enough to give me a demo of all the cool environments, from a neon nightclub to a lush Oriental spa. (The above images were all taken in the same holodeck.) Entertainment includes slamcore by OnnaYokai Yamabushi at noon and ambient guitar by AldoManutio Abruzzo at 4PM. At Kenora (Teleport SLURL).

Come to Passionate Books in Mystic and hear a live reading of Diana
Hunter's sultry tales of erotic romance, read by the author herself. Diana will tell the story of how she got involved in both writing and

7-10PM - Hoe-Down Under Texas Aussie Party
Australian bands performing as part of South by
Southwest Music Conference and Festival in Austin, Texas. Appearing: Female acapella group Kaya, the

11AM - Esmussein Performs Live from Spain
Esmussein, a five member alternative rock band
from Spain, will be
rocking out simultaneously
from a music venue in Spain via video stream and in-world at Chance (104, 93).
12PM - RootsCamp Meeting
Progressive activists are invited to discuss
politics and activism in Second Life and Real Life at the weekly RootsCamp meeting on Progressive Island (200, 48).
12:30PM - Fabrice Crosby Concert
For the growing francophone presence in SL, bluesy French singer/songwriter Fabrice Crosby is appearing in concert both via
video broadcast an in avatar form at IronForge (180, 237, 21).
6PM - Dean Koontz Reading
Join us for the premiere of "Authors-In-Second-Life" with best-selling author Dean
Koontz. Mr. Koontz will read from his upcoming hardcover, The Good
Guy, followed by a Q&A. To join the Q&A, you will need to join the group "The Bantam
Dell Book Cafe". At the Bantam Dell Book Shop on
Sheep Island (teleport SLURL.) The Shelter in Swinside is an overflow
location for this event.

StarRose Merlin will host a interpretive dream class, where you will learn "how dream

The Dixie Rebels are hosting a beach party to raise funds for the American Cancer Society's "Relay for Life" at Dixie Land Estates (130, 132). Bring along your swim trunks, surfboard and extra lindens to party for a good cause.
