Starax self-portrait donated by SuzanneC Baskerville
Legendary creator Starax Statosky may be gone from the world (but still quietly roaming it from time to time as another avatar), but his heritage lives on. Rockwell Ginsberg made sure of that, by turning his land in ancient Da Boom [direct teleport here] into a kind of Starax gallery.
"I've acquired some of Starax's most famous works," he writes, "including a Starax self-portrait on loan from SuzanneC Baskerville. They are on display for all Residents to enjoy.
"There are even a few of his freebie sculptures for residents to pick up. By all accounts, Starax's work is some of the best in Second Life.
"And now that he has left our world, his work is that much harder to find. I hope your readers enjoy these sculptures as much as I do.
"Yes," he adds, "that fiery avatar was made by Starax, too!"
