If there's an SL-based topic you want to talk about, grassroots content/event/project you want to promote, a gripe you want to air or praise you want to publicize, post here. Early Monday, I'll mention noteworthy Comments and discussions in a front page update. Also, don't forget to vote on my voice-in-SL survey. (And hello from lovely Austin, Texas.)
Update, 3/12: Cyn Vandeverre wonders where on the map where all the new land is going to go. Any cartographers out there got an idea?
I saw the recent note by LL about delivery of 300 private islands; that's a lot of growth! Do you know if there's a plan for what happens when the grid fills up?

Good question-- presumably, that's what they have in mind by capping concurrency while they try and keep the whole grid scalable. Maybe they did that with that announcement in mind.

I was, I think, insufficiently specific.
I'm thinking of virtual acreage here, not users. At present, the map has an edge, even if there aren't any islands there. Is the grid map going to be filled completely, or will it expand indefinitely N, S, E, and W?
