On Wednesday in wee hours of the early morning (at least in most of the United States) an ecology non-profit and a major marketing firm are sponsoring the flooding of several sims to dramatize the effects of global warming/climate change. Avatars are invited to come by and be drowned for a good cause starting at 2am-6am PST. The floods will be filmed for other climate change actions. SL parents and children are invited to the grand opening of Over the Rainbow, an in-world preschool and daycare center for children ages 5
