That's because it's by NWN style columnist Iris Ophelia, chosen by the Review's art director to illustrate the prestigious journal's cover. Unfortunately they took a much less attractive frontpage for the German issue. But the articles seem to be largely the same in both issues.
It's hilarious to see screenshots with grey or "texture missing" avis though...
