Employing Maya, sculpted prim technology, and a touch of physics, Rodion Resistance realizes a childhood dream, giving a tribute to Hayao Miyazaki's classic film a more a tangible form. (Virtually tangible, at least.) Somewhat slow in the build up, but surely worth a look if you're a fan of Miyazki. Or for that matter, of sculpted prims.
View it here on YouTube. A higher res version is available here at his company site Avatrian, an online world studio partly based in the Philippines. (Yes, the metaverse continues to be outsourced.)
Very cool, I've got a Mehve glider that was made by another person in-world and given to me as a gift, but, this machinima was a nice touch for this.

Thank you :) Just some clarifications (this is my fault because I wasn't able to get back to Hamlet sooner on this >_< sorry Hamlet!), first, I used ZBrush for the sculpted prim, and not Maya. Second, only the fuselage is a sculpted prim and not the entire Mehve. And finally, the link to the hi-res version is in error and I shall correct this ASAP. Again many thanks :)

It's nice, but we've had one for sale at the Abbotts Aerodrome for years. ^.^;;
One of my neighbors built it.
