I stumbled back from China yesterday and got right back to work, but will post some photos and commentary from the trip next week. While I was there, I enjoyed watching New World Notes contributors and readers take the reigns with some great stuff:
- Iris Ophelia's delectable survey of the Japanese metaverse fashion scene in Second Life is, for my money, the best thing she's created for New World Notes so far. (And considering her stellar past entries, that's great indeed.) Can't wait for her Part II.
- In her inaugural post, Amalthea Blanc offers an already-dispensable guide to the ten best installations using SL as an artistic medium.
- Rik Riel's short post on Anshe Chung's sponsorship of a non-profit commons in SL provokes a very interesting debate in Comments.
- Tateru Nino's latest corporate engagement headcount continues to offer essential insight on how companies are trying (and usually failing) to win Residents over.
- Prejudice against the non-VOIPed? Maybe or maybe not, but NWN readers offer several earfuls on the matter.
Welcome back to NWN, Hammy! You simply must tell us what went on in Beihai.
Also: upskirt. wow. just... wow. xD
P.S. Your OpinMind account seems to be closed atm, fixes please? ^^;
