My colleague Dean Takahashi of the San Jose Mercury just passed on his exclusive report about security analysts who recently discovered a way of hacking L$ from a Resident who's located near a Quicktime video stream. It's the apparent source behind this announcement: pending a fix from Apple, the Lindens strongly advise Residents not to stream Quicktime videos from unknown sources in-world.

I'm sorry, first because this comment is not post related, and second because you will not probably like it .-p. Put the blame on Timothy Lilliehook who recruited me, but you've been Tagged *grins evily*.
Please, follow the link to my post to learn about the rules. I hope that after the "why me?" groan you will find the idea funny.

I don't get it, I have to give you a fact about myself? Or Chuck Norris? Or WTF?

About yourself, but I believe it is up to you to choose what yourself are you going to talk about ; so if you are Chuck Norris in RL, it whould be right to give faults about him.
I cannot tell about Mr. WTF, but I imagine he isn't invited (and I whould like suggest if you don't find the tag thing funny you should drop it. I almost did, but at the end it did't took much time and gived me a pair of smiles).
Anyway, I wasn't clear about the rules; I should had copied and pasted them as I got, instead of doing a little brief. Here they are:
1) Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
(2) People who are tagged need to write a post on their own blog (about their eight things) and post these rules.
(3) At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
(4) Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

Do not use streaming video in any sim where there is an untrusted parcel. This is because a script can force your quicktime stream from anywhere in the sim.
Code example here.
