"The picture is inspired by the moment when you find your home in the arms of someone you truly love, where you lay down your burdens and tear down your walls," Torrid Midnight tells me. "The female in the photo is me and the guy is someone who just happens to always show up when I need to create an image! Miraculous isn't it?"
To create the final look, she adds,"This photo is most definitely Photoshopped. I applied lighting and a ton of shading.to try and add some realism and the overall dark look. Images like 'Home' are my story images where I want the viewer to find that story and let their imaginations run with it. To help in this I add small details, like in 'Home' for instance, her eye makeup and lipstick are smeared. Why is her makeup smeared?" Torrid grins. "It's amazing how different people answer that question."
