Synn Mounier created this neo-noir tableau of her avatar facing down the mean streets of the cyberpunk city called Devil's Moon (direct teleport at this link).
"Ever since I first saw this sim," she explains, "I was incredibly impressed with the detail and beauty. It's changed somewhat, but it's still an amazing place to check out... I suppose the reason that I took this picture was my own love of the kind of run-down, gritty beauty that the city can offer. Steel and stone can come together to make some of the most breath-taking scenes. I loved the visuals in the movie Metropolis, and I fell in love with Tim Burton's vision of Gotham in Batman. For me, Devil's Moon is one of the best examples of cities as a piece of art within itself. And why the guns? Well, I didn't have any good ones, so it was an excuse to spend money on a nice set. And it just looks cool." The image includes post-production enhancements-- those described after the break, along with guidelines for submitting your own Tableau.
"Of course," Synn says, "this was Photoshopped and run through a nifty little program called Mystical that added shadows, lights and accents. I also turned my detail and lights WAY up to get as much of the detail that SL had to offer by itself."
