I'm thankful to be in Second Life for so many reasons: I've found new interests, friends, a job, overcome (most) shyness, and love! What more can I ask for?
Well, there's a lot... and I'll keep looking for it in SL.
Hope you're having a good Thanksgiving too, Jamlet. I'm certainly thankful I met you at the beginning of my inworld journey because it led me to the present. :)

I'm thankful for finding Secondlife too. So much inner discovery and finding my soul mate. So much more to be done.
(I wish the internet backbone caches would clear after the 2000 IP address change and whatever LL did monday morning so i could enjoy secondlife again)

I'm thankful for all the Residents who in their endless imagination, energy, and dedication convinced me that this is the thing I should devote my career to. (You know, like Torley up there.)

I'm thankful for Second Life, which never fails to surprise and amaze me. I've met some incredible avatars / people, gotten a dream job, and found so much inspiration and entertainment.
And I'm thankful for the opportunity to write my weekly event picks for NWN! Thanks, Hamlet!

I'm thankful that family around me and business generated by being part of the SL community kept me from following up on this post until the actual Monday after Thanksgiving!
Seriously, I've found meaningful real and virtual world work, and made contacts that would have been pipe dreams before I discovered Second Life. Who wouldn't be greatful.
To keep building community I'm developing a consortium of other people who can help others realize their own potential in Second Life, including shared office space so they can make a professional appearance without undue pain. Why not give something back to the community that nourished me, after all?
