Unnoticed by the humans below, she wanders the concrete jungle in despair. What madness allows these human creatures to live in a world devoid of plants?
The Abyss has already been featured in New World Tableau, but when Faerie Hax came upon the blasted ruins, she was inspired to make something grander: "Rather than just post more pics of this wonderful build I decided to try and tell a story through them," she tells me. She does this in a series of five breathtaking screenshots, telling "the tale of the end of humanity as seen through the eyes of a faerie." Part One begins on her Flickr stream here.
Visit The Abyss for yourself-- direct SLURL teleport at this link-- and see what stories it inspires in you; details for submitting your own Tableau (there or from anywhere else in the world) after the break.
Submitting to New World Tableau:
New World Tableau is an ongoing album featuring Residents who've turned SL screenshots into a new art form, vividly conveying emotions, stories, and entire cultures in a single image.
- If you come across a picture or image stream that deserves a place
here, please IM (Hamlet Au) or e-mail ([email protected]) me the link.
- Feel free to describe what the image says to you, or if you're the creator, what inspired you to make it.
- Whenever possible, name the
Residents pictured, and include a SLURL to the location (when appropriate.)
-
Moderately Photoshopped
images are OK, just mention if this is the case, and what effects were
added. (On rare occasions when the post-production adds a special
element, heavily Photoshopped images are also appropriate.)
-
If you submit an image to NWT, it's assumed I have permission to run
it, either as the owner, or because it's been appropriately CC
licensed. The original creator retains all their rights to it, in any
case.
Has the photo been taken with WindLight?
Has the sky been rendered differently or photoshopped?
The photos are beautiful, and I want DETAILS :)))
Congratulations for the pics!

Hi Negko, Yes I used windlight to take these pics and I used different sky presets to get the different effects.
The only thing I did to them in photoshop is a little bit of cropping.
I'm glad you liked them!
