For the first time since 2003, the world's coming year seems in tumult, with no reliable outcome in the vast scheme of things-- except, that is, for the things that matter most: more creativity, more innovation, and a more global community, bringing the best of themselves into this twinkling slipstream of ones and zeroes that describe the sum of our imagination.

Happy 2008! Thanks for all the great stories this year.
We'll muddle along. Cynic that I am, I think we aren't doing so badly--recall when 40K concurrence seemed to be the end of the world?
I'm popping a belated cork in honor of all my SL friends...good luck in the year ahead.
