My book The Making of Second Life is finally just a few weeks from hitting the shelves, and the good folks at HarperCollins just sent me the Flash advertisement above, which you'll see on this blog and selected others. They wanted it to feature some of the photos I've taken for reporting on this blog, and so above, you'll catch a glimpse of lovely vacation spot Naturum Island (SLURL teleport to Naturum at this link), from Japanese developer Metabirds, which I briefly mentioned here. That's followed by Angie Albatross and Kron Ray on the mean streets of Midian, the remarkably innovative roleplaying city of Jade Steel, which I wrote about here. (SLURL teleport to Midian, if you dare, at this link.) My deep thanks and appreciation for their dedicated talent and creativity.

Very nice, huge congrats on the book being published! Will there be other ad sizes, such as 728x90, 120x240 or 300x250?

Thanks, hope you like it!
Tari, I think there's a 300x250, but not the other sizes up now (125x125 and this banner.)

We so need a record of how this all began, and I'm sure your book will become a reference source for decades to come. Congratulations, Hamlet. Looking forward to reading it.
