From Beijing to the metaverse to Miami... and starting this Friday, to Manhattan. Starting this Friday night, my friend China Tracy (the acclaimed young conceptual artist Cao Fei) is introducing the latest iteration of her Second Life-based RMB City project at the Lombard-Freid Projects gallery in the Chelsea district. Wish I could be there to catch the opening, but if you're in New York and you're looking to see a leading example of SL used as an artist's medium, I absolutely recommend it.
