The latest version of AjaxLife, the web-based Second Life viewer from teen Second Lifer Katharine Berry, comes with a powerful new feature that should warm the heart of every Resident who's been in-world for more than a few months. It's not AjaxLife for iPhone, or AjaxLife with a 3D display, or anything so grand. But I still call it a killer app, because it offers this:
An off-world way to delete your virtual crap.
Yes: All the thousands of boxes, note cards, clothing items, skins, objects, folders, etc. etc. that have quickly became so mountainous, your computer seems to shudder, when you click the Inventory button. All that detritus, now accessible and removable while you're on the web, perhaps during idle times in the office, or in between web browsing. Go here to check it out.
Looks very useful!
Although I'm already at the stage where I don't know what some things are, and have to try them on or rez them out before I can delete them. But there are still many things I could manipulate and delete remotely. Cool!

You're right - Katharine just made our lives better!
And what a powerful example to LL - a handful of small quality of life fixes could be transformative for the Residents who're the backbone of SL, the ones spending the most time in world. Save them from a handful of frustrations, and the goodwill will ripple through the user base.
It's a simple but revolutionary concept: "how can I make my customer's lives better?" as a core business driver, as opposed to... um.... whatever principles *are* driving LL's priorities these days.
Kudos to Katharine!
