It's one thing to note that Second Life's maximum concurrency has surpassed 65,000, far more than three times what it was 12 months ago. It's another to show that population on SL's dynamic map, where each in-world Resident is represented by a green dot. Jeanricard Broek just did that on his blog, and it reminds me of the moment when an East-bound jet cuts through the clouds on the final approach to New York, and Manhattan suddenly appears in a blazing constellation of lights. 66429 as of 3/30/2008. Today we are at 60,000 and yesterday we were at 65,000. I predict 70,000 soon :D
