This breathtaking Tableau is somewhat unsafe for work viewing, unless you work at a fetish boutique. (Click the image for the full effect.) I selected it as a runner-up in Koinup's Second Life Exotic screenshot contest, a work by Collin Savon featuring his partner Melodious Source as a model. (The bottom half of Ms. Source, at any rate.)
"I guess I like the elements of sexuality, danger, debauchery and voyeurism," muses Savon. "All I knew going into is is that I wanted to make a little restroom to play in, the final shots I chose were selected out of a series of maybe twenty shots in various poses." The restroom itself is in a private location. A heavily post-processed shot, Collin explains the work he put into it after the break. See more of his equally sensual (and quite often not worksafe) images in his Flickr stream.
See the full New World Tableau series here. Want to send me a Tableau of your own? Submission guidelines after the break.
Collin's notes on creating "Restroom Redemption":
- Built the set and textured it, baked some lighting in and added prim shadows.
- Dropped a pose stand with my model Melodious Source on it, flipped through them and ran across the laying pose and went hmmmm..
- Shot a series and concluded that was the most intriguing.
- Post processed in Photoshop.. Did my usual dodge and burn to enhance highlights and shadows.
- Cropped to focus attention on the shoes as the focal element.
Submitting to New World Tableau:
New World Tableau is an ongoing album featuring Residents who've turned SL screenshots into a new art form, vividly conveying emotions, stories, and entire cultures in a single image.
- If you come across a picture or image stream that deserves a place
here, please IM (Hamlet Au) or e-mail ([email protected]) me the link. Please e-mail me the image as a file link, or attached as an .jpeg or .gif, as long as it's under a meg in size.
- Submitting as an in-world texture not recommended, as they often come out distorted and not high res.
- Feel free to describe what the image says to you, or if you're the creator, what inspired you to make it.
- Whenever possible, name the
Residents pictured, and include a SLURL to the location (when appropriate.)
-
Moderately Photoshopped
images are OK, just mention if this is the case, and what effects were
added. (On rare occasions when the post-production adds a special
element, heavily Photoshopped images are also appropriate.)
-
If you submit an image to NWT, it's assumed I have permission to run
it, either as the owner, or because it's been appropriately CC
licensed. The original creator retains all their rights to it, in any
case.
Wow, I hope you or whomever took this, submits it to the Stiletto Moody contest ;)

It's quite a fascinating shot and is very well-treated. I find myself distracted, wanting to commend Miss Source on finding a decent mesh skirt more than anything else, though. The whole effect is a very sensuous one. Good choice!

Ahh, well thank you Vidal - for the copliment. I like to think that the combination of my shopping addiction and taste, combined with Collin's masterful photoshop skills create a magically, funknasty fusion.
and we do have so much fun during out playtime. I vote yes as well, this deserves entry into Stiletto Moody contest. If he doesn't turn out something even better. Which knowing Collin, he will.
