Live from Karachi, it's the latest metaverse phenomenon:  stand-up comedy by a Shiite Pakistani for an international audience in a post-apocalyptic wasteland...  Doesn't anyone want to be the Susan Sarandon of SL?  Style correspondent Iris Ophelia wonders where all the middle-aged female avatars are... Where are the shadows in SL?  Katharine shows us dynamic lighting, and how to get it ourselves... An interactive music installation prototyped in SL, built at the San Jose Tech Museum.
