Since The Making of Second Life came out, a lot of folks have asked, "What will you write about next?" Answer: this is what I write about. Despite any skepticism on particular applications or Linden implementations, I remain convinced that Second Life -- and increasingly, the open source virtual worlds inspired and designed to interoperate with it-- will remain among the preeminent Internet stories of the next few decades, re-shaping entire industries, and the global culture itself.
Which means we'll need help telling the story. Iris covers fashion and style with aplomb, Charlanna ably handles our events calendar. If you're interested in contributing in other areas, read on.
I'm particularly interested in game coverage, education/business/other real world applications, and Japanese/Portuguese-fluent writers to cover Japan and Brazil's burgeoning SL scene, but I'm open to any and all interests. More than anything, however, I'm interested in writers able to post regularly and consistently, at least twice a month.
