It's intriguing projects like these that convince me this blog needs a Japanese translator working full time. "Recently, we did a event which is a collaboration with avatar's dance and real dancer," I was messaged by "Gekitora", creator of the video and author of this blog, Inetdance. "The video of avatar dance in Second Life was projected near the dancer." (You can see the screen on the video's far right edge.) That's the extent of what Gekitora's told me, so I'm still in the dark. All I can hazard is that it featured this seasoned dancer and took place in this Shibuya bar, which is also a hangout for this Japanese-based SL musician, who reports on his blog that this former CEO of a San Francisco-based virtual world company was recently spotted scribbling his name on the bathroom door there. No, really.
Here's Gekitora's blog post on the performance; can a multi-lingual reader help enlighten us? For that matter, I'm still trying to figure out if a Japanese company is selling live cats for Linden Dollars.
