Last month I partnered this blog with the folks at Koinup, the virtual world social network, in large part because I've been consistently impressed by the high quality of screenshot and machinima creators it's attracted to its system. Now company CEO Koinup Burt tells me about a cool new sub-group that's sprung up on its own: the Mentors Project, a number of seasoned Koinup content creators who volunteer to offer constructive criticism for recently uploaded screenshots/machinima on the network. You just tag your Koinup work with "review", the Mentors offer helpful commentary and advice, and that's subsequently uploaded with the tag "tutorial" so everyone can benefit from their insights. Read more about it on the Koinup blog, or get in touch with "Trixibelle", known as Cala Rossini in Second Life (above), who initiated the Project.
