Tomorrow at 9:30am SLT on Harvard's Berkman Island in Second Life, two Boston professors are going to show off progress on Hub 2, their program which uses Second Life's building tools for community-driven urban planning. Their pilot project is pictured here, the Library Park in Allston, Massachusetts: "[Allston] residents will step into a model of the park in the virtual world of Second Life," the site explains, "and, through organized workshops, be able to move things around, flag
spaces for further consideration, and experience potential uses." Here's info on tomorrow's presentation, from Professor Eric Gordon of Emerson College and Berkman Center Fellow Gene Koo. Image credit: hub2.org, hat tip rikomatic.com.
