The folks at NWN partner Koinup just passed along the final data for the year, tracking the number of times members of the virtual world social network clicked the teleport SLURLs of the Second Life sims listed in their directory. Here they are below, with more screenshots and SLURL at each link; try to visit them all before the year is out! (And congrats to the creators and owners of such artfully realized locations-- and all the Koinup members who paid tribute to them in the screenshots below.)
1 - Creamshop (featured above; other top ten locations depicted in widget above each listing)
2 - Cu Mara
3 - Gion
4 - Rez
See five through ten after the break...
Hamlet, I'm not sure why but these Koinup posts always show up as a massive text garbage dump in my google reader. the embedded player comes across as "plt;pgt;amp;lt;pamp;gt;amp;amp;lt;pamp;amp;gt;amp;amp;amp;lt;pamp;amp;amp;gt;amp;amp;amp;amp;lt;pamp;amp;amp;amp;gt;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;lt;pamp;amp;amp;amp;amp;gt;Koinup: Your amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;lt;a href=amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;quot;http://www.koinup.com/amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;quot;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;gt;Virtual Lifeamp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;lt;/aamp;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;gt;amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;lt;/pamp;amp;amp;amp;amp;gt;amp;amp;amp;amp;lt;/pamp;amp;amp;amp;gt;amp;amp;amp;lt;/pamp;amp;amp;gt;amp;amp;lt;/pamp;amp;gt;amp;lt;/pamp;gt;lt;/pgt;/p "
not purty :(
Just FYI, I guess! And Happy New Year!

Sorry about that, Ms. Kuu, I noticed it too. Not sure what it is, will take it up with the Koinup kids. And HNY as well!

I too get that problem - I hadn't realised until now that it's a Koinup issue. It could be because the NWN posts are provided as snippets, however - perhaps the code is getting cut off before Reader can recognise it as content?
Anyway, happy new year from me, too! Who knows what stories'll turn up in that year?

And you too, my vital Vidal!
Seems like this "amp;amp;amp" dealie is a problem confined to mobile browsers, but I can see it in my Typepad HTML window too.

Thanx for posting this list, Hamlet!
And to Koinup, I've been enjoying their places discovery system. I don't get nearly as much time and focus as I'd like to visit AWESOMENESS in SL, and this brings it to me easier.
Some regions I haven't been to yet, so I'm saving this page for handy reference.
Thank-you to everyone who visited Here! =)
