Chestnut Rau’s weekly round-up of upcoming SL events…
The Fashion Designers Challenge, started by Samsara Nishi, is a venture intended to foster collaboration among designers. The 35 clothes, hair, skin, jewelry and shoe designers participating were organized into teams. Each team was asked to work together to build a harmonious outfit that included an original design created by each member. The results of this interesting shared project will be presented in two fashion shows hosted at the lush Patch Thibaus Auditorium. The first show is this week on Tuesday May 5th at Noon and the second show will be held on Saturday May 16th at 6PM. You can view and purchase the designs here. - Mature-rated events are permissible, but listing descriptions should be PG-13. Political and religious events are encouraged, though those of an extreme or non-inclusive variety are rarely included.
- Bonus consideration given to game-related or machinima events, and for events with "I've never seen that in SL before!" value.
