What's Your Favorite Web App, Wagner James Au? from WebWorkerDaily on Vimeo
What tools do I use to write New World Notes? Last month, acclaimed Net writer Aliza Sherman (Cybergrrl Oh in SL) sat me down for a video interview to discuss those for Web Worker Daily. I talked about Paint.NET, which is a great (and free) tool for editing screenshots and other images, and the microblogging site Plurk, which as I mentioned last week, sort of works as a Second Life on the web.
Very cool! I hadn't heard about Paint.net, so that's definitely something I can use when my friends ask what they can use for images besides Photoshop or GIMP, which are not always the easiest programs to learn.

It's really slick and so lightweight, you can use it while taking screenshots in SL at the same time. Doubt you could do that with Photoshop easily (unless you have a powerful ass PC.)
