Krrish Spyker's ambitious and eerie machinima is like a half-deranged dramatization of philosophy's free will versus determinism problem, were it visualized for MTV. Good voice acting, sound editing, and writing, matched to smoky, desaturated cinematography that fits the metaphysical strangeness of it all. And because it's shot in Second Life, the theme takes on double or triple meaning. We already wonder how much of our real lives are pre-scripted, but how about hyper-glamorous, club kid avatars with scripted animations interacting in a virtual world? Macinima from Second Life has certainly been improving hasn't it? :)
Great work!

It's really difficult to construct a convincing narrative with SL machinima, there are so many factors working against a serious filmmaker and the results usually fall far short of their ambitions. So it's encouraging to see films like this example which has high production standards, uses some very accomplished camera techniques, is professionally edited, tells an interesting story and retains it's own visual style and atmosphere.
Personally, I would like to see SL machinima that is even less compromising and more experimental. Imagine something reminiscent of Maya Deren's classic Meshes of the Afternoon.

Krrish it is one of my fav. machinimators after Lainy voom. This is a great work here and as a amateur machinimator I do agree with arahan, very hard on SL to make a convincing narrative.
congrats to Krrish
