Stung and saddened by the reported death of the real person behind the SL artist Vanfarel Kupfer (pictured), metaverse maven Bettina Tizzy dubs May 18th "Will your Work Day in Second Life", inviting SL's great artists and inventors to consider willing their virtual creations to a trusted loved one (in either world.) The Lindens have an official process for doing that, though of course, another option is giving co-ownership permissions to select items and land. That way, these creations remain in-world as a digital testament to the imagination of the bereaved, and insures future avatars will delight in them too. To that end, Kupfer's own works will be on display in four locations: Ms. Tizzy has the SLurl links at her blog. There are also translations of this message in French, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Spanish, and Italian at this page.

Read an article earlier today about Legacy Locker however I didn't see any mention of SL in their list of virtual assets. Perhaps you could get a comment from LL?
