From June 15th through the 21st the 2009 Fantasy Faire will bring you 9 sims of themed spaces housing fun events, exotic shopping and the 130 of the best in Neko, Elven, Furry, Dragon, Goth, Tiny and Sci-Fi creators. Avatars, clothing, furnishings and exclusive items will be available from such creators as Whimsical Wonders, Kami-Hitoe, Sculpt Maps Galore, RFyre, Bare Rose, Material Squirrel wings, Tayren’s Fantasy Fashions and more.
At Noon on 6/15 don't miss the opening event at the Faire which will be an energetic, explosive and colorful performance by the ChangHigh Trinity Sisters FireShow of Light, Life and Love. 5PM - Ballet Pixelle Reprises "Windows"
In case you missed the show last week today you have another chance to see live ballet in SL. Ballet Pixelle produces classical, neo-classical, contemporary, and eclectic ballets for and with the residents of Second Life. The dancers perform original animations created especially for each ballet. Ballet Pixelle cast members live literally all around the world and in performance, dance to the music as he or she hear it, coordinating their movement with other dancers on our stage. 5. Events sponsored or promoted by real world corporations are welcome,
as long they serve and entertain the Second Life community, and/or
foster
Resident-made content (live music, builds, scripting, fashion, games, etc.) Events that merely promote the company or organization's Second Life presence
are not generally appropriate; you may instead consider advertising your event or service on New World Notes.
6. Mature-rated events are permissible, but listing descriptions should
be PG-13. Political and religious events are encouraged, though those
of an
extreme or non-inclusive variety are rarely included.
7. Bonus consideration given to game-related or machinima events, and
for events with "I've never seen that in SL before!" value.
