Update, 6/7: Many interesting items in Comments: Dawny Daviau announces that the Ladies from Ahern have created a fetching calendar HUD (above) as a fundraiser, with all proceeds going to the National MS Society; to get a copy, bring L$1000 and teleport: direct SLurl teleport at this link.
Shava Suntzu reminds us that Tuna Oddfellow's wonderfully psychedelic Odd Ball is running at 11am SLT every Sunday and 7pm SLT every Monday. (Video of a recent show above by Aiden Witrial, though you want to attend first-hand for the full brain-melting effect.) To get automatic show announcements, visit Oddfellow Studios and click the poster above the giant top hat: direct teleport at this link.
Also (and this is the clincher) steampunk coder Miss Malaprop announces she is constructing a scripted hatpin suitable for stabbing individuals in the neck or the derrière, as preferred. Much more in Comments!
Here's an open thread where you can promote an event, business, activity, group, community, sim, blog, product, service, or any other Second Life/OpenSim-related project. I'll highlight some of my favorites in an update, so explain why it's interesting, and include links, SLurls, and dates/times where appropriate.
I would like to add our project for Charity. We made a calender with photo's from the Lady's from Ahern. Who are they? Well Aces Spade (5 years in SL) for instance and myself of course ;)! All the money will go to the MS charity! Here you can check it out!

I am currently working on, and hope to release very shortly, a scripted hatpin which not only can be used to stab people in the neck but also jab them in the bottom so that they move out of the way.
I apologise if that is not the sort of laudable or intellectual project which deserves to appear on this Periodical. I do work on some other things, such as web-based opensim control packages and generic Drupal/SL interfaces, but they are dull and do not involve jabbing anyone in the rear with a sharp object.

This is your Second Life
Actually, it's mine,
because yours might suck.
It's not your fault.
You might not know how to improve it and that's where I come in.
It's what I do.
Burn it down, and build a better you.

You'll never be perfect.
You can learn what it means to be beautifully twisted, and unabashedly flawed.

Perhaps Ms Malaprop apologised for her enedeavours a bit swiftly. Certainly jabbing the buttocks of another with a hatpin is a singular amusement as laudable an activity as any I have witnessed.

Want to turn your brain inside out? Come to Tuna Oddfellow's Odd Ball.
In summer 2007, Tuna was judged "most talented avatar" in SL by NBC's America's Got Talent crew, and appeared on AGT on broadcast TV twice that summer -- his avatar! And, NBC awarded him a million linden dollar prize.
He's only gotten better since.
What is the Odd Ball? It's kind of like trying to describe a laser light show to someone who's never been. Our fans say:
Zan Ametza feels like she took acid and went to Seussical
Sabrina Coleslaw: is it just me, or is it raining magic?
Honey Welles: absolutely astounding..... the most creative and mind boggling production I've ever seen SL OR RL!!!! WTG!!!!!
DOC Sideways shouts: Its like standing inside the mind of Timothy Leary
Scarp Godenot: This isn't a flashback, this is a flash forward.
Here's a fan machinima from today's show:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x2cQ9Gg5PAE
But as Aiden says, it's an experience -- you really have to be there.
11am SLT every Sunday - 7pm SLT every Monday
Other shows as we're hired out or feel like we need a little mid-week ODD.
Come join us at:

Join "The Tunaverse" group in SL, or go to our site and click on the poster high up in the center to join our subscribe-o-matic, and we'll send you notecards, and not take up a group.
IM Shava Suntzu or Tuna Oddfellow for more details.

"Team Tut" is nearly ready to begin our expedition into Rezzable's SL and OpenSim builds of Tutankhamun's tomb and the Valley of the Kings.
I've met with RightAsRain Rimbaud and we agreed to get a team of higher-ed faculty and technologists to look at the pedagogical opportunities of Rezzable's Heritage Key site.
Updates will run at http://iggyo.blogspot.com/

I, however, am taking the opportunity for a shamelessly commercial plug: Harper's Fine Art and Photographs, where you can fulfill your needs for artwork for your walls, especially pieces from the Twenties or near that era. Prices are quite reasonable, and I am expanding my upper-level gallery to add even more material. The future includes the possibility of custom framing, and even opening a small do-it-yourself photo studio. Any questions, please contact Harper Ganesvoort in world, or see my blog for my E-mail address.

SexToy Dave say’s, “you won’t want to miss this pool party!” You might remember SexToy Dave from his recent real-life appearance on Bravo’s reality show Millionaire Matchmaker (3.19.09). Yup, this is the same Dave (Dave Levine the infamous SexToy Dave) and he’s throwing yet another big bash, this time at his Second Life Hollywood Hill’s home, tucked away in “The North Pole” region of Second Life. Party starts at 7:30pm (SL time), June 16th 2009 and will feature cool prizes (real life and second life), free Lindens, great Dj music, the Strokerz Girlz and of course more fun then you thought possible. All brought to you by SexToy.com and VirtuallyAdult.com.
When you arrive at the North Pole (http://slurl.com/secondlife/North%20Pole/231/123/33) look for the log cabin sitting on the edge of a crater that looks very much like the real Crater Lake in Oregon U.S.A. Once inside you will be happily surprised. You really won’t want to miss this SL party!

Stockings! yes, stockings photographed on avatars of various shapes and sizes. You should find this photographic exhibit pleasing to the eye as it uses post processed images all taken in SL by Autopilotpatty Poppy. Her unique style of creativeness makes this a memorable experience for anyone.
along with this exhibit is Sledge Roffo's newest primergy exhibit using his skill as a sculptor and a photographer. He puts light and texture together to make beautiful and astounding images that you will stand in awe before. Don't miss this talent!

Thanks Hamlet for this regular plug opportunity ! :)
My gallery in Malyshkin includes a selection of fractal paintings and photography, a replica of the monument to Pappo Napolitano (located in RL Buenos Aires)...
... and of course the latest and greatest attraction, three selected works from my MoNA (Museum of Noob Arts) exhibition. There you can immerse yourself in "The Anoobtomy Lesson", and be dissected just like in Rembrandt's painting.
I dont have the landmark handy now, but search for Museum of Noob Arts, in Malyshkin, not far from my friend Paulfive's Dazed & Confused 70's Rock Club (best in SL, no question about it).
Hope to see you there !
