Chestnut Rau’s weekly round-up of upcoming SL events…
I am on vacation in the Adirondack mountains this week. Wading through hundreds of events listings to bring you the very best in Second Life happenings every Thursday is hard work! This avatar needs a bit of canoeing, some hiking and a whole lot of napping in the hammock.
Even though I am in vacation land I don't want to let NWN readers down. So, you will find a shorter than normal list of live music, art, and some storytelling events after the jump. Next week I promise the normal variety you are used to from Chestnut's Choices. For now, if you have other events this week please list them in comments. If you want future events to appear hear please email me at the address at the end of this post.
(All event times in SLT, "Second Life Time"-- i.e., Pacific Standard)

7PM - Shandon Loring reads from H.P. Lovecraft
Influenced by Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft is regarded by some as one of the best horror stylists of the 20th century. Lovecraft's major inspiration and invention was cosmic horror, the idea that life is incomprehensible to human minds and that the universe is fundamentally alien. Those who genuinely reason, like his protagonists, gamble with sanity. Tonight a few specially selected tales of wonder and weird, just for you! Read in voice. In West of Ireland.
