The Second Life viewers of open source coding whiz Kirsten Lee Cinquetti are a constantly desired commodity, renowned for their stability, UI fixes, and of course, early implementation of SL's dynamic lighting system, which is still an unsupported feature in the official viewers. People hit this blog via Google searches for variations of her name and her viewers dozens of times a day, if not more. To help them in their quest, I just checked with Ms. Cinquetti, and courtesy her, here's a full compilation of sites to download and get updated on her viewers:
- Of course, there's her blog, which you should start with first: http://kirstenleecinquetti.blogspot.com/
Ms. Cinquetti: "That allows for posting comments and a chat room as well as links to downloads."
- Then there's her FTP site: http://armyof4.com/Kirstenlee/Public%20Viewers/
"This has the latest viewers and an archive going back nearly two years ago (of course the early ShadowDraft viewers are nearly a year old. I tested SD2-R7 and it still logs in.)"
- Here's another resource: http://armyof4.com/Kirstenlee/Cool%20Stuff/
"Is a small folder of odds n' sods like MS patches, and neat stuff like the S16 theme for the Windows XP desktop."
- Finally, her Sourceforge repository: http://sourceforge.net/projects/kirstensviewers/
"That contains SVN (sources), Trac, open forums, the latest binary, screenshots, and the kitchen sink."
That should cover the coding world of Ms. KirstenLee Cinquetti. Any other questions and comments, please post below. Image credit: kirstenleecinquetti.blogspot.com
