Tomorrow at 7pm SLT: New World Notes Gala Party in RMB City With New Lainy Voom Machinima, RMB Fashion, MoShang Zhao and More!

New World Notes readers, you're cordially invited to a special party I'm hosting tomorrow -- Sunday, September 13th at 7pm SLT, a night of machinima, fashion, dancing, to celebrate the re-opening of RMB City, the fantastic virtual metropolis created by Cao Fei (known as China Tracy in SL). RMB is a surreal, virtual re-imagining of modern Beijing, an art installation featured in numerous galleries in New York, London, and elsewhere, and this re-opening will connect it to the in-world community. Scheduled Events:

• World debut of a new machinima by master director Lainy Voom
• Runway fashion show hosted and curated by Iris Ophelia
• DJ MoShang Zhao spins his ambient, Asian-inflected tracks
• Cao Fei and her team will introduce new city content, including a noise experiment by
• Yan Jun, a dynamic UFO by Neville Mars, and a Sex Parlor by Cao Fei. A new building inspired by the Guggenheim Museum wll also be unveiled for the public to enjoy.

All this happens at and around the People's Palace.
